Xi Gui 2019 Lincang Raw Pu’er

$22.00$495.00

This Pu’er tea hails from Xigui on Manglu Mountain, where Yunnan’s large-leaf tea trees thrive. Manglu Mountain in Lincang is renowned for its distinctive Rattan tea. With over 300 cloudy days each year, the mountain’s east-to-west orientation provides gentle, diffused light, allowing the tea trees to grow naturally, largely unpruned, resulting in a unique, well-balanced inner character.

This tea stands out for its strong tea rhythm, smooth broth, impressive hui gan, and quick sheng jin. The leaves are thick and long, a deep green in color, and reflect the tea’s exceptional quality and flavor.

In taste, this tea is extraordinary. The first few infusions reveal a slight astringency that quickly melts away within 10–15 seconds, unveiling a delightful peppermint freshness. This unique coolness becomes especially refreshing as the tea moves down the throat, delivering a remarkable hui gan that enhances each sip.

We recommend this tea for anyone seeking a refreshing, out-of-the-ordinary tea experience. Its cool, invigorating character makes it both thrilling and memorable.
