Made in Autumn 2022, Mangfei refers to “the mountain in the valley” in the language of the Dai minority people. It is one of the top 4 tea mountains in Lincang, Yunnan, alongside Bingdao, Xigui, and Daxueshan.

Mangfei is renowned for its cooling and mildly astringent qualities. The dry tea leaves are dark green with an oily sheen. Has a strong aroma reminiscent of a wild forest. The tea broth is light yellow, with a thick and full texture. The taste is truly remarkable. The initial infusions are robust and fresh, exhibiting a mild bitterness and astringency. However, the hui gan, a lingering sweetness, intensifies with each brew, akin to its development.

Roughly after 4 infusions, the mouth is gratified by a delightful sweetness, while sheng jin persists with each sip, leaving a lasting effect for up to 4 hours.
