Golden Needle 2024 FengQing DianHong Black Tea

“Golden Needle” is a straight black tea made using the traditional Dian Hong tea process. To create the straight type teas, a straightening machine was introduced. This tea is made purely from the tea buds of Yunnan large-leaf tea trees. The appearance of the tea is similar to that of a ripe awn of wheat, covered with golden tea hairs, having a straight shape, sharp and a lovely smell of malt.

It has a strong, persistent maltose aroma with a slight roast, reminiscent of a bakery. Once brewed, the maltose aroma is instantly released, filling the air with its sweet fragrance. The taste is sweet and smooth, not too different from Golden Silk, but with a stronger flavor that leaves a long-lasting taste in the mouth.

Great tea to serve at tea parties or as a dessert drink after lunch or dinner.
